This building looks very much like the one we used as a prefect house when I was at Mosman High.
I was in the first group of students to attend year 4 and 5 when the school graduated from an Intermediate School to a full High School.
Mosman High also changed from separate boy and girl schools to a co-ed school at this time.
I know this is not about the library but perhaps might be of interest re this grand old cottage
